And we LOST!!

We made delicious Neiman Marcus cookies of urban legend fame. They were made with love by Mr. and Mrs. Walters.  We had nice newlywed serving platters, table cloths, candles and table runners but we were out done by all the single ladies.  It seems that the young crowd at Frontline Arlington choose the cookie of our good friend Jaderade’s small group over ours!  I think it had something to do with the pink crowns and pretty smiles.

The way voting goes down is that each person gets a blue marble and each contestant has a marble bowl.  If your cookies are preferred the person will drop their blue marble in your bowl.  Whoever has the most marbles at the end win.

I am convinced its because a bunch of single young adult dudes are more apt to vote for a bunch of pretty single ladies than the old married crowd.  There was some strategy involved in terms of props, placements and signage that we will learn from and come back fierce next year.  Jade – put your ladies on notice.  The married small group is coming back with a vengeance next year!
