We’ve had a ton of rain in D.C. this week.  We actually had a tornado warning on Wed. and had to “evacuate” the third floor.  Its funny to me how this week and last, the weather has matched up almost perfectly with some things I’ve been thinking through/praying through.

There is a song by Patty Griffin called Rain that I just love.  The lyrics and music really speak to me on a number of levels.  Especially today as dark clouds loom over head and in my head, the hope of this song is where I am:

Strange how hard it rains now
