WASHINGTON — Today, Lucia Kathryn “LucyKate” Walters, (Only Child-Leesburg, VA), announced that she is resigning her position of Only Child in order to pursue the post of Big Sister in the Walters family.
“Being a big sister is not an easy task but I am up for the challenge,” said LucyKate. “Having just had a birthday, I have a year of experience under my belt now; and with the support of my family and friends, I’m confident I can lead this new baby well.”
She has no comment on sharing snacks and toys, but feels sure that she and the new baby can work towards a mutually beneficial arrangement.
LucyKate plans to assume her new Big Sister role in late May when her new brother or sister arrives on the scene.
